To clear up certain misunderstanding, for those people who are still doubting about LSE. Here are my opinions; I was surprised when I first heard that LSE has fallen its position to 60th ++ since 2009. I mean it has used to be top 20 in the world. Anyway after this and there digging out reasons behind all these, I was like 'Orhh .. no wonder man.'
Recently other top 50 universities have been performing really well. So does LSE, it hasn't really weaken nor improved any further since 2001. Across the league table, LSE has been maintained its status in its specialized subjects. Rather than saying LSE is an university or that I believe it doesn't even an university, London School of Economics is a specialized college of its own. I believe social sciences are their main focus on research and teaching remaining the world best rating. LSE, its investment is usually focus in social science.
LSE is top renowned in anthropology, economics, law, history, philosophy, politic, social policy, sociology, management and on top of all these subjects ranking top 10 in the world. Not just that, LSE is still remain the best for world best's university for international students, typically from Asia. It is the top 7 world best graduate recruitment. It is also the top 7 world best average starting salaries in LSE specialized graduate courses. Lastly, it is also the best substitute to study social science for those who wanting to go Harvard University as both their ranking is pretty close.
SO for those who wants to study in LSE, considers their specialized courses. ( *^_^* ) Good luck! Hope this info helps ...
